So, about that whole 'Hollywood is out of ideas' thing...

When my friends who play World of Warcraft, start talking about WoW, I generally have to stay out of the conversation because I don't know much of anything about it. However, I've gradually picked up a few phrases that I can throw out to sound like I maybe know what they're talking about ('Did you know you can WIPE on VAULT?' ;) ).

And now, I guess, I have one more. Specifically, So do you think the movie will be any good? (HecklerSpray has already made up their minds, it seems.)

sam raimi is incapable of making anything but tripe these days.

anything you liked that he did was fluke and i'm not counting on it happening again.

To be honest, I haven't seen much of his stuff (the first Spiderman movie...that's about it). I was more boggled that (a) they are actually making a movie out of freakin' WoW and (b) any director would eagerly jump on-board such a project.
