The books actually don't annoy me nearly as much as the fandom. (Although I haven't read 'Eclipse' which is where some of the worst of the borderline-abusive behavior apparently occurs.) The movie amused me greatly and I thought it improved on the book overall.

I know what you're saying about KStew, but in my opinion that's what makes her such a perfect Bella, you know? And hopefully she can show a bit more spine (after her fetus BREAKS IT, AUGH) in the last movie when they have a - talk-off with the Volturi.

The sexiness of the werewolves amuses me somehow. I hope they keep the werewolves' humor/snarkiness; they tended to be a lot more fun than the mopey Cullen clan in the books. And the slow-mo...heh. Edward even takes his shirt off in slow-mo! It's HILARIOUS. (I think they are showing off their increased SFX budget after the first movie's, uh, modest budget.)
