It's November 1 - do you know where YOUR plot is?

A quick report from the first day of my very first NaNoWriMo ever.

Cups of coffee drunk: 5

Actual meals eaten: 1 (bacon and toast counts as breakfast, right?)

Number of times I've gotten discouraged at my lack of writing skill: 3

Number of procrastinating visits to the NaNo forums: 6

Amount of candy I bought on post-Halloween sale for the specific purpose of eating during NaNo: I plead the Fifth.

And most importantly....

Words written: 4,261

All in all, not a bad first day. Tomorrow is my first official write-in. Whee! Now, to attempt to get to sleep with caffeine still coursing through my bloodstream, heh.

how many words are you *supposed* to write in a day in an ideal world?

I can't say that I approve of this mass writing campaign
*shakes head*

Are you going to type and drive next weekend? LOL

You could get a little recorder and narrate your book on the drive down
(helpful hint?)

Im blathering

But I guess that's okay

In order to reach 50,000 words in the month of November, you need to write an average of 1,667 words a day.

NaNoWriMo is actually a pretty amazing thing. But hey, to each his/her own.

LOL, I'll just think about my story on the drive down (large parts of my plot are still vague to nonexistent). But I will bring my laptop and try to write in the morning/at random times during the weekend. (Can't wait!)
