The guy playing Caius is . . . 12 years old? Oh, wait, he just looks like a kid. That is absolutely not what I was picturing at all.
I think Anita Blake may be improved by being on tv that isn't HBO/Cinemax/Showtime/etc. They can't put in the porn for regular tv! When you cut out the porn in the first 5 or 6 books, there's a pretty good story there. After that, though, it goes downhill, since the porn IS the plot.
