My feeling is that Dragonball is an awful movie (or, rather, there were awful actors in it. I didn't know that was Emmy Rossum. Wow. I thought she was an amateur. It otherwise seemed very obvious to me which people had experience and which didn't), but hey, I was never bored, and it made me feel some vague otaku pride to see live action Dragonball in a theater in America. Josh thinks it felt almost exactly like Dragonball, and most of the characters were headed in the right direction. I'm fairly certain we will end up owning it on DVD. Sigh. I would watch it again, though. It was kind of fun.
As much as I want to live in isolation in the middle of nowhere, I love wandering around cities and being able to walk to Chipotle places I need to go. I think going on walks, especially when you go somewhere new, is a lot of fun. That's pretty much how I explored China and Japan when I was on the study groups. "Oh, free time? Everyone else is going shopping? I'm going to wander through that alley over there! Cool!"
