While my reaction was less severe, you've pretty much pinpointed why I gave up on reading Twilight after reading Eclipse. Hated all the characters, and especially the "romantic" ways they all acted toward each other. I did enjoy your reconstruction of the scenes, though.
Also, why aren't you on Twitter? I've been visiting LJ less and less often, and I find myself having Ana withdrawal.
