Mar. 21st, 2005 02:20 amAm currently exhausted by AIM Conversations of Intenseness. At one point I had four conversations and a chat going on at the same time. I now feel like hiding from AIM for the next week or two, but I promised one of my old high school friends to be online tomorrow so we can talk :-(
In happier news, I'm now on the general staff for PortConMaine! I'm looking forward both to be just going to the con (it looks like a lot of fun!) and to be helping out--work experience connected to one of my favorite things, what could be better? However, I just read through every thread on the staff board of the con's forum, which contributed to my exhaustion. So...tired...
I went swimming today for the first time since my freshman swim test! I really like my bathing suit and it was a lot of fun...I had forgotten how relaxing it can be to float on your back.
I finally put up the Labyrinth poster that my sister gave me for Christmas up...my room is so geeky now, I love it.
The DDR insanity is continuing; Mom hasn't even tried it yet but she's heard so much good about it that she's starting to say "Maybe we should get a PS2 and a copy of this game..."
I may have mentioned this before, but I'm going to go and talk to the international relations classes at my old high school on Wednesday, telling them about China and Taiwan and also my experiences with Model UN. I'm looking forward to it but I'm nervous about how well I'll be able to hold the kids' attention and get them to participate.
*stretches* Bedtime. Later, all!
