it is late and i am lazy....

Hence this will be a very short update. Life is going on in that on-going way it does, without much...um...going on. Oh, except the threat of Mom getting sued, but I very much doubt that's going to happen. It's a long story, which can be boiled down to: people are really stupid sometimes.

I've been doing very little lately--just work, reading (have I mentioned lately how much I love Terry Pratchett?), watching anime, etc. Life is boring, in fact, but that's okay.

And now, of course, ( Shocking Tales from Customer Service: True or False? )

And now I'm *really* tired. Night, all!

random computer-y updates

After joining the Anime LJ Layouts community, just for fun, I have a random desire to have a Wallflower layout. Which I would make for myself, if I had a) a reliable source of Wallflower scans (or a scanner), b) Photoshop *cries* c) a better working knowledge of css and html than I actually do d) a whole lot of time and patience. Unfortunately, I have none of these things....oh well.

Speaking of that, I keep trying to get the basics of html...and then giving up because it's hard! I'm really not a computer person...

Apple fangirling: how sexy is the iPod nano? Ridiculously sexy, that's how much. E will be upset, though, since she always wanted a black iPod. Ah well....

EDIT THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH COMPUTERS BUT A WHOLE LOT WITH THE WALLFLOWER: This should teach me to believe what I read on the PortCon forums....so, volume 5 is coming out next week. And....volume 6 is coming out in December and volume 7 is coming out in March. And if the fan sites are to be believed, there are 13 volumes in all. And volume 13 was released in June of this year, so there might be even more!!!!

I cannot even tell you how exciting this is for me.
