So I've temporarily lost my voice...it was bad this morning (terrible sore throat), better earlier in the afternoon, and now my throat doesn't hurt at all but I just can't make a sound. It's annoying, especially since I have a habit of singing along to the radio, etc and I can't now...ah well.
Book plug: many of you may know that I am a sucker for intelligently-done first-person narratives, the whole 'present at the making of history' thing. That in mind, I highly recommend Emergency Sex and Other Desperate Measures: A True Story of Hell On Earth. ( It's not exactly what it sounds like.... )
Hmm...not much else is new at the moment--except Man of La Mancha opens tonight. I'm excited to see it! (Especially since four of the ten people in my townhouse worked on it). But yes, that's about it.
I have a lecture I want to go to at 4:30--later, all!
