Jul. 21st, 2007 06:47 amJust finished Deathly Hallows. I feel like it took me a rather long time to read it, but I kept stopping--quite often to reread bits/hyperventilate, once to look something up in book 1, a few times to fight back tears, and once to cry like a baby for about ten minutes.
What can I say without spoilers? Besides HOLY GOD AMAZING, which I definitely gasped every ten pages or so.
...and I just thought for about ten minutes and really can't think of anything to say that will make sense to people who haven't read the book or express the smallest bit of how amazing it is.
Another reason there isn't much to say, of course, is that this IS the final book and Rowling is very good at tying things together. There isn't a lot left unexplained, not much left to be analyzed.
The only thing I really wonder, (and while I think I know, it's not exactly spelled out and I'm sure it will bug fandom FOREVER unless someone gets a straight answer from JKR), is--who is Victoire?
