Work is so slow...which is good and bad. Nice, because really, I am not a huge fan of my job. So I am sitting here, done with emails, basically surfing LJ and the PCM forums (because my manager is not in today so there is no one to catch and scold me. After all, what else should I do? Stare blankly into space?)
On the downside, I'm REALLY antsy because PCM is tomorrow, and I have a bunch of stuff to do once I actually get home, and when there are no calls the day feels soooooo long. If I was taking call after call, at least the day would be speeding by.
On another note, since my manager isn't in today, I'm nominally in charge--which is stressful because a bunch of people have simply NOT SHOWN UP without even calling in, so when the morning people leave at 4:30, we will have all of 2 people on the phones.
On the plus side, PCM tomorrow!!! I probably won't be sleeping tonight--I won't get home until 9 or 9:30 after work, and I have packing and all sorts of things to get organized. But that's okay...it's a tradition, really. I've never slept the night before PCM, even the first year I went.
Five more hours...*sigh*
