sometimes i doubt your commitment to sparkle motion

I should just make a Twilight tag and be done with it.

The thing is, I don't feel particularly passionate about Twilight (anymore - once the initial pain of reading it wore off - anyway). Mostly I stick around the anti-fandom because there are some funny people in it. Therefore, let me share with you all:

cleolinda, in one of her usual burst of awesomeness, screencapped the latest Twilight trailer. With commentary. I think my favorites are the West Side Story references.

However, over at twilight_sucks, one poster has a different perspective on that scene.

And truly, sometimes, I wonder why I even need anti-fandom when Twilight practically mocks itself. I mean, I'm fairly certain that Edward The Uber-Hawt isn't supposed to look (a) like a zombie (b) like he has a lazy eye (c) like he's had a mild stroke. The sad thing is that in real life, RPattz is actually pretty cute. Whereas in pretty much any promotional Twilight material, he looks like someone from which you would run. Screaming.

On a totally different note, I randomly looked up music videos for the Dresden Dolls on YouTube this weekend. OMG LOVE. They are so crazy and I <3 them.

I really need to start getting to sleep earlier, but then what else is new?
