Happy birthday yumiko!

I reached 25,000 words yesterday, which is the minimum I needed for the halfway point. \o/

Goal for today: writing another 5,000 words to reach 30,000. It's a write-in day, so it's doable. Onward!

NaNoWriMo Day 16 - I have been really lazy with the daily updates

To be fair, our wireless network is still not really working at my house, so posting on LJ and updating my word count is difficult.

But! I made it to 30,000 words today (30,452, to be exact). This is the most words I've written in a single day so far (over 5,000). And my plot is finally moving forward. Score!

I should probably keep writing, but my wrists are aching just a bit (Panera Bread tables are not ideally positioned for ergonomic typing). Maybe I'll go home, watch a movie or something to relax, and then write a bit more.
