Work today was okay - a typical Monday - except for the technical emergencies that kept turning out not to be emergencies. I mean, emergencies that aren't emergencies are the best kind to have and all, but it was getting faintly ridiculous by non-emergency #3.

Anyway.

I really tried to stop for a while. My friends teased me about talking about it all the time, and I felt like I was clogging their LJ friends lists with Twi-spam.

Then, for my birthday, Mel gave me a 'I <3 Boys Who Sparkle' pin. And Julie gave me a New Moon calendar.

So, you know...I don't feel so bad about posting the occasional Twilight item now.

Anyway, I guess I just have a question for the Twilight marketing/merchandising person. Do you secretly hate the franchise and are trying to sabotage it? Do you have a thing for guys with disabilities? Or do you just really, really suck at Photoshop? Because first we had the poster that made RPattz look like a albino zombie stroke victim, and now Taylor Lautner is kinda looking like a hunchback. Also: way to amp up the stalker-ness of Jacob. He's really not that bad (in New Moon, anyway) but that tee shirt is edging into serious DO NOT WANT territory. (I will never go away? Seriously?)

At this point I'm honestly curious as to how this stuff is being deemed in any way 'a good idea'.
