and up towards the sky....

Thanksgiving was fun. Not that exciting, but fun. I don't feel like going into details because, like I said, not exactly exciting. Turkey, pie, some relaxation, and getting together with a few family members. Yep.
My real point to this post is to just let everyone know that I have just finished, and officially love, Kaleido Star. In love, I say! It's just so pretty....and cute....and extremely shojo! I own it (woot ADV thinpacks) so I'm open to lending if anyone wants to watch it.
And for those of you who want to know what it's about....well, it starts out being about a girl who wants to join the Kaleido Stage--which I guess you could call a circus, but more the Cirque de Soleil type than Ringling Bros. Sora comes to America (location of Kaleido Stage) from Japan (of course) to audition. The audition...doesn't go quite as planned, but she gets a chance to join anyway. Then she's off and away dealing with everything from learning ballet to placating angry stars to keeping an orphaned seal fed (no, seriously). All this, of course, while working hard to prove herself and become a 'Kaleido Star'. Okay, really cheesy description...but trust me, so cute! And beautiful; remember constant acrobatics, lovely costumes, etc. etc.
Um, I'll stop babbling now. *whispers* but it's so good....
Work tomorrow--later today, I mean. *sigh* Ah well.
Later, all!
EDIT: There's a second season. Being released starting in January. By ADV. *dies* I love Anime News Network.... Oh, also an OVA that--is being released in Japan in two weeks. Yeah franchises!
