One of the things that I kind of like about our neighborhood is that there are several slightly-wild cats wandering around. They aren't dangerous or anything; mostly they are just unsociable and will run away if you get too close. We didn't see them much this winter - they were probably indoors with whoever actually owns them, or at least hiding somewhere warm - but now they are popping up again as the weather gets nicer. They seem to like sleeping on cars, probably something to do with how the metal retains heat from the sun, so I often go out to my car in the morning to find little dusty cat footprints all over my car. ^_^

One of my goals going forward is to make both days of my weekend at least moderately productive. Usually I will get some stuff done on Saturday, and then laze about all day Sunday. This week it was reversed - I didn't even get out of my PJs until 4 PM yesterday, but today I've gotten a bunch of stuff done. I like it when my days off are moderately and pleasantly busy; otherwise the hours slip by and I hardly feel like I've spent time away from work at all.

On the bright side, I went to see the new Witch Mountain movie yesterday. It was...interesting. I never saw the original Witch Mountain movies, so it didn't have the nostalgic aspect to me. It's by no means a great movie, but it's entertaining (and sometimes unintentionally funny).

Speaking of new movies, I recently discovered that they are making a movie out of Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging, although they have inexplicably renamed it 'Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging'. In any case, those books are possibly my biggest guilty pleasure, so I am definitely planning on going to see it. My one burning question is, have they cut out Dave the Laugh? Because DtL is by far my favorite character.

Would you say Witch Mountain is a go-and-see or wait-for-rental? I'm mixed on whether or not I should go. lol

I'd say it depends heavily on how nostalgic you feel about the original. I never saw the original, and therefore wouldn't have gone out of my way to see it if I wasn't going with friends (who, incidentally, loved the original movies). If you remember the old movies fondly, you'll probably enjoy this one enough that it would be worth it to see it in the theater.

But go with friends if possible, and don't be afraid to giggle at the more ridiculous moments.

If you learned anything from Azumanga Daioh, you should remember NEVER to pet stray cats (unless they are some form of ultra-cute wild tiger cat)

That is all ^_^

I completely agree with your feelings of wanting to be more productive on weekends. My last two have been productive entirely because I have been in EMT-B recert class. However, once I got home I almost always didn't do anything afterwards -.- However, seeing as I have been awake early (i.e by 630 many morning, if not sooner) most of this past week (including the weekend) I think I may be on my way to making myself a morning person. Well, at least a get up and to work earlier than 930 person.

Anyways, I ramble. But CATS! I love it when you have kitty prints on the windows in the morning. ^.^
