Apparently there's going to be a(n American) Full Metal Panic movie. With Zach Efron. Yeah.

...okay then.

(Also, Cold Things Can't Feel Love aka Twilight The Musical. Watch it. Love it. It's HILARIOUS. Be warned, though, it has tons of in-jokes from both the books - including Midnight Sun, hi Lonnie! - and the movies - 'Jacob's terrible wig, anyone?)

I am absolutely willing to give Full Metal Panic! a try. Josh and I had a huge talk about it yesterday, actually. Even if it looks awful, we will go see it because we love FMP! (pretty much the same reason why I bought Dragonball: Evolution tickets last night. Josh is a fanboy, so we're going regardless). I won't even by upset by Zac Efron as long as he dyes his hair and Sousuke's name doesn't change. Well, unless he gives Sousuke a totally different personality. Then I would be unhappy.

Oh, if they make it, I will see it. (And I will probably end up going to see DB:E this weekend too, if only out of masochism.) However, I really cannot see any way a FMP! adaptation could go well except through truly massive amounts of dedication and money for SFX, which I am...not particularly expecting. ^_^

Funny, I never would have picked Sousuke as your dream role. :D

On the other hand, they haven't actually said that Efron *is* Sousuke, so if you talk to your agent now, he still might be able to do something. ^_^
