You know you've worked in an office for too long when you attempt to use paper clips as bobby pins. Protip: it doesn't work.

I am also starting to suffer a return of the Ominously Aching Wrists. Note to self: buy new wrist brace, as my old ones are missing and were really uncomfortable anyway.

PCM is less than a week away, oh my goodness! I'm fairly caught up so I'm not freaked out. (Julie - let me know if there's anything you need me to do/help with!) But I'm excited! Also, as per usual, I suddenly decided to attempt a costume less than a week before the con. Go me. On the bright side, it's fairly simple so I might actually be able to pull it off?

Anyone have any ideas on what I could use to make a halo that actually looks metallic? I was thinking plastic but I can't think of where I would find a head-sized plastic ring. Hmm.

Off to put my laundry away.

Crafting wire? It's already metallic, and easily curved. If it's too thin, twist several pieces together (mine is thin, so I used extra for the Jeanne costume and it was fine).

And if you go into an art store they have various thicknesses of crafting wire. :)
