Another year of PCM is over, sigh. It was an amazing time as always, despite some craziness. I spent most of the weekend either at registration or at the manga room. (To be honest, I felt guilty spending too much time away from the manga room when Liz was at info desk pretty much 24/7 and Mick was running around like the proverbial headless chicken and Arch was managing the entire artist alley with a staff of three and all).
However, I did make it to the vendor room and artist alley, and to PortProm, Extreme Geek (though I heard it was going to suck ~_^ ), and the rave (glowstick explosion!). And 'my' staffers were both awesome and I really hope they return next year. I enjoyed myself a lot.
Number of attendees this year: 1804 (yay!)
Number of cups used during the rave alone: 7000 (no, that is not a typo)
Number of 'free hug' signs: TOO MANY
Number of L cosplayers: reg desk counted at least 9
Number of staff in-jokes by the end of the weekend: 4 that I knew of, probably more that I didn't
Number of pages of notes I've written for PCM 2010: 2
Next year's PortCon theme is Old School. It's going to be AMAZING. And Mel's art is so cute!
I also have some more serious (but still PCM inspired) musings about in-group/out-group dynamics, friendship, and insecurity which I may or may not post later.

I love hearing about trading laser discs and purple videotapes. This is my excuse to watch Voltron and all the other old school series I've been putting off. OMG Sailor Moon panel *swoon*
