amatyultareI keep going back and forth on the idea of getting a Twitter.
The only reason why I really want one is because, well, it looks like so much fun. It's the same reason why I was tempted to get a BlackBerry; I want to play around with it and explore what it does and so forth.
The reason why I keep resisting is, actually, pretty much the same reason why I ended up not getting a BlackBerry or any PDA-style cell phone: what would I do with it? I am really not witty enough, nor do I live such an interesting life, for my Twitter feed to be entertaining. And I'm afraid I'd get overwhelmed really quickly if I started 'following' people (people post A LOT on Twitter, which to be fair is sort of the idea).
Work drama is somewhat on hiatus at the moment, as almost half the office is on vacation or out of state this week. Yay?
Because I'm sure you were all wondering: the latest companies to fall to the Dark Side that is Twilight merchandising are Burger King and Nordstrom. (In all honesty? I would actually wear that 'Forks High' tee shirt. It's cute and subtle enough to be interesting - as opposed to the 'Team Edward! <3 <3' tee-shirts.) Technically, I suppose, the latest announcement from Harlequin also counts, as their new line "will be titles specifically developed for readers of Twilight". Of course they will
And finally, Twilight is being made into an MMO. Or maybe a video game? It's billed as 'Twilight the Video Game' but the description looks more like an MMO. Either way, I am anticipating hilarity. (My favorite comment from that article is 'I suppose sparkling will be a level 1 power'. Hee.)
And now, off to the gym.
