So.
Uh.
I never though I would say this, but I'm...kind of impressed. REALLY impressed, actually.
*blinks*
I'm not sure how to feel about this, but congrats, Chris Weitz. I - sort of want to see this movie now.
Also, I feel bad for Taylor Lautner (the guy who plays Jacob, aka The Guy Who Spends 95% of His Screentime In The Trailer Shirtless) because the fangirls are going to eat him alive after seeing that trailer.
But mostly I'm just boggled that I enjoyed that trailer. So...yeah.

Date: 2009-09-15 04:11 pm (UTC)I didn't hate hate the series, nor the movie. I didn't fangirl it, but I don't hate it :)
And I don't like the actress still. God damn she has a habit of looking spaced out ALL THE FRICKEN TIME.
I hope the fourth? book movie shows her with a spine?
Werewolves = half naked and buff. OK. I approve.
And finally: way too much slow mo. Slow mo is not the answer to showing drama or hiding bad acting. Way too much slow mo. ;)

Date: 2009-09-15 11:36 pm (UTC)I know what you're saying about KStew, but in my opinion that's what makes her such a perfect Bella, you know? And hopefully she can show a bit more spine (after her fetus BREAKS IT, AUGH) in the last movie when they have a - talk-off with the Volturi.
The sexiness of the werewolves amuses me somehow. I hope they keep the werewolves' humor/snarkiness; they tended to be a lot more fun than the mopey Cullen clan in the books. And the slow-mo...heh. Edward even takes his shirt off in slow-mo! It's HILARIOUS. (I think they are showing off their increased SFX budget after the first movie's, uh, modest budget.)
