I forgot a couple of things in my last post. They're mostly really boring, so I'll put them behind a cut.
•I bought a skirt to wear at I-Con! (Yes, K, to wear with *that* shirt.) I haven't worn a skirt (dresses aren't the same somehow) since high school. I also bought a pair of heels to wear with it...and I haven't bought non-sneaker shoes since my freshman year at Colgate. Excitement, excitement--oh, and I found a silver watch for only $10, so I can wear a silver watch with my silver earrings! (I hate mixing metals).
•This may not mean anything to anyone, but we now know the whereabouts of Bobby Fischer.
•Looking through the PortConMaine website, I've found some really cool things to do there in between my work shifts. Probably number one is their Ramune workshop, where you learn three different ways of opening a ramune bottle and get to try all different flavors (so strange, yet it sounds so fun). A close second is the ever popular plushie workshop--I want to make a Pretear plushie! Thank goodness I have until late June to decide which character to make...
•Of more general interest, and therefore not under the cut, is the eternal question: should I make a mixed CD in honor of I-Con? I think it would be fun to make one, but I have a sneaking suspicion y'all are all getting kinda tired of my mixes (especially L, who has what, four of them now?) If you would like a mix, what songs or type of songs would be appropriate? Suggestions are always welcomed!

And sure, make a mix--we can play it on the way down!

Alright, I'll make a mix--although my car has no CD player *or* tape player. :-(

Date: 2005-03-23 05:43 am (UTC)I'll definitely keep your suggestions in mind, but if you want I can also burn copies of the Unwritten Law cd I have (Elva) and the first and only, so far, Postal Service album (Give Up) if you want them.
