I just realized I haven't posted all week! This is due to several things. 1) I temporarily got back into a semi-normal sleeping pattern, so I was going to sleep before I usually go online. 2) My life this week has been sensationally boring--I've read, watched anime, and filled out job applications. 3) I've been a little down lately, for no particular reason. Maybe I've been missing you guys? I was really sad to go home. Another part is that I keep getting annoyed at Ray (oh yeah, he's back...) but then thinking that I'm so much like him (talking a lot, not paying attention to social cues, etc) and I get really depressed. *sigh*

Elections must have just happened! I can't wait to find out who's been elected. Good luck, new officers; I'm sure you'll do well!

I finished DNAngel on Thursday, and I really liked it! They could have prepared you for the ending a tiny bit more--actually, I think it would have worked nearly as well if the series had ended after episode 24--and I felt like the CGI didn't completely mesh with the drawn part of the anime, but it was a ridiculously cute love story and an interesting concept, plus they didn't get bogged down in theft after theft (I hate villains of the week!). And yes, I continued in my hopeless love of Hiwatari...but I realized why! Only HP fanfic readers will get this (so, B and R), but Hiwatari is fandom's Draco. High intelligence, maturity beyond his years, bastard father, pulled to the dark but tormented by it because of his essential goodness? Oh, and don't forget the attractiveness...

Hmm...so tomorrow, E, Mom, and I set off on our fabulous fun-filled vacation! We're spending a week at an II resort in Callicoon, in the Catskills. The place looks nice, plus it's only a couple of hours away from NYC, so we'll probably spend at least a day there. Our cabins should have internet access *crosses fingers* so, since I'm bringing my laptop (I'll be watching Paranoia Agent there) I may be able to keep up with what you guys are doing. Oh yeah, I should finish packing...

Oh, and if at least one person hasn't posted in Nerudia by the time I check the site again on Monday, I will cry.

Ugh, packing. I'll be on AIM if anyone wants to say hi. Later, all!

P.S. I've been rereading Furuba. Kawaii! I love the anime but I like the manga artwork better...and the fact that there's more Haru. Mmm, Haru...

I feel like the manga artwork is too heavy on the outlining--all the black lines look too thick. And Kyo's head looks flat @_@ Fruits Basket is one of the very few series where I like the anime art better. Except the Haru. More Haru is a good thing, and he's equally sexy between the two mediums. Sigh.

You're right about the ending to DN Angel . . . it's like, wtf?! That's a totally random bit of historical fact that was SO not set up. BUT, I adore the romance in that series so much.

Hon. believe me, you're not Ray *hugs* You may see similarities in behavior, but you see them and can avoid them.
