Amun

Indeed, you are 87% erudite, 79% sensual, 45% martial, and 54% saturnine.
Amun was a mysterious God indeed. His very name basically means "what is hidden", "what is not seen", "what cannot be seen", and though even his form was said to be “unknown”, he was depicted as a man with the head of a uraeus (cobra), or a man seated on a throne and holding in one hand the sceptre, and in the other the ankh.

All secrets aside, what we do know is that Amun was the Egyptian King of the Gods, not unlike his counterparts Zeus (Greek mythology) and Odin (Norse mythology). With his ruling might over the Gods, Amun soon became associated with the Pharaohs.

Being responsible for the creation of the world, it is not surprising that he was also the God of fertility, reproduction, and sexual power, and thus also the God of agriculture. With the combined powers of regeneration and royalty, Amun became linked to the sun and the great God Ra, becoming known as Amun-Ra, which pretty much consolidated his status as Supreme God.

In spite of Amun's political ascension, he also enjoyed popularity among the common people of Egypt, who came to call him the vizier of the poor, the protector of the weak, and an upholder of justice.

The Mythological God Test written by Nitsuki on Ok Cupid

I am feeling far too lazy to update, and I don't have a lot of news anyway...um, Mom's leaving tomorrow for a week for a workshop about teaching AP Biology, which she's excited about. She had a falling out with Ray the day after she made up with him, and at the moment they're on the outs. E is getting all angsty again, and even her friends are worried because she won't talk to *anyone* about it. I've officially finished training and start *real* work on Monday, which is exciting but also scary. During my last day of training, I found out that one of the guys in my training class reads 'All Roses Have Thorns'! Coincidences keep happening to me, it seems....

Oh, and sorry, but I can't make it to Connecticon...sorry! Mom would blow a gasket and I really shouldn't--I have other things I need to use the money for. But hey K, Voltaire is playing at some goth convention in Connecticut in August....

Meh. I really need to get some sleep. Later, all!

My comp is fully functioning again, so I can burn you some awesome AMVs now. I was going to ask you this through e-mail, but I don't think I have your current adddress. Feel free to respond back to this post or e-mail me (bcalhoun@mail.colgate.edu).

First: I need your mailing address (& your e-mail for future reference)

Second: Do you prefer AMVs only for series you've seen, or just whichever AMVs I like best? The AMVs I have (and like) include a lot of Naruto, some Full Metal Alchemist, Utena, Fushigi Yuugi, Rurouni Kenshin, Fruits Basket, & RahXephon (I'm gonna send you this one regardless, because it's consistently rated the highest AMV in various categories). I also have AMVs that are still pretty good but which I like less for Cowboy Bebop, Noir, & Haibane Renmei.

It's amazing the amount of crap AMVs you have to sort through to find really good ones. That's why I'm lacking in good ones for some series I would really like AMVs for.
